East Harris County Youth Program at Gardens
Presents
HOLIDAY PROGRAM
(AKA "BIG PARTY")
On Monday, December 8, the children and the staff from Gardens' AfterSchool Program excitedly set off for the annual Holiday Program at Barrett Station Community Center in Crosby. They were joined there by 3 or 4 other schools, who all participated in a rousing program. Our talented students performed a beautiful medley of 5 Christmas songs. Commissioner Silvia Garcia and some of her office staff were present to foment the celebration, during which 28 of our students won bikes donated by North Shore Rotary and helmets donated by San Jacinto Pilot Club. To boot, the North Shore Rotary also donated $10,000 to East Harris County! What a terrific party!
