On Tuesday, November 27, 2001, at 7:30 PM, the Gardens Elementary AfterSchool Program (sponsored by the East Harris County Youth Program) performed for the Pasadena I.S.D. School Board. They performed two patriotic songs that really touched school board members, faculty, and parents alike.

School Board member Jerry Speer is really touched by the Gardens After School Progam singing patriotic songs.

Third, fourth, and fifth graders singing "Proud to be an American".

Children wave flags proudly as they sing "Voices that Care".

Pasadena School Board members watch with tears in their eyes as Gardens Gators sing patriotic songs.

We would like to add here a special note of thanks for all the hard work of so many that led to this successful presentation. Fantastic Kids plus Super Teachers = Shining Futures!

Thanks also to our school board, which supports Pasadena teachers in so many ways. They are the Greatest!
