Challenger Dress Code and Rules:

 

No hair dye, highlights, or streaks.  Natural hair color only.

No make up.

No Jewelry except a watch (girls may wear one set of stud earrings).

No false fingernails or fingernail polish.

 

Shirts:

Wear designated grade level colored polo shirt:

     5th: Navy blue

     6th: Dark Red

     7th:  Hunter or Forrest Green

Only white undershirts with no images or writing are allowed.

 

Pants:

Khaki or blue pants, shorts, or skirts of appropriate length may be worn.  No baggy or too tight pants.  No cargo or carpenter pants.  Blue jeans may be worn as long as they are a solid color with no streaks or faded spots.  No hip-huggers or low-rise pants.  Pants must be worn with a belt tightened at the waist - no saggy pants.  No holes or slits allowed.

 

Shoes:

Tennis shoes need to be worn for P.E.  Shoes must be laced and properly tied.  If shoes have straps, they must be strapped at all times.

 

Jackets:

Solid white or solid blue jackets and sweaters are allowed.  No logos of any kind may be on any clothes.

 

Binders:

Binders must be BLACK.  No other colors allowed.  Absolutely NO zipper binders.  Binder should be kept neatly with no writing on the outside.

 

Other Items:

No electronic devices or toys, such as CD players, CD's, radios, Gameboys, etc.  No photographs.  No cologne, perfume, hairbrushes or combs.  All banned items will be taken up from the students and released only to a parent or guardian.

 

Any violation of the dress code that cannot be resolved at school will result in a call home.  If the parents are unable to bring appropriate clothes to school, the student will remain in ISC all day or may be sent home.

All dress code regulations are subject to change at the principal's discretion.
