Figurative Language Unit The fourth grade students are investigating figurative language, such as idioms and proverbs. They are identifying the meanings of these phrases, which will help them experience higher level literature. It will also make them more creative writers. At the end of October, the fourth graders will create costumes based on the literal definitions of some popular idioms. Footage of this event will be posted on this website at a later date. |
