Dear
PISD Mentors, The first round of mentor stipends were paid on the June 15th paycheck. As you continue to turn in your observation forms and mentor logs, we will enter credit on our database and continue to pay stipends. We are excited to see some of you already taking your mentor training update and making plans for the opening of the 2008-2009 school year. For those of you under the TEA BTIM Cycle 1 grant, thank you for your feedback and for sharing your ideas regarding how you will begin the second year of support to your current mentee/new teacher. We are in relatively uncharted territory, so it will be exciting to hear your plans for next steps in supporting our current new teachers during a second year. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
