Absences

Absences: There are times when absences are unavoidable, and we certainly understand.

  1. Fill in the absence form from your ATCP binder (You must have Acrobat Reader or Microsoft Word to download this form.) Click here for Absence Report form (pdf).  Click here for Absence Report form (doc)

  2. Complete the top half of the form and have your principal sign it.

  3. Send the signed form to the ATCP staff. We will then complete the form with the necessary make up assignment and return it to you.

  4. Attend the training specified. Our make up requirements will be generic enough so you can easily find appropriate training. (You might find make up sessions in the staff development catalog at http://www.pasadenaisd.org/staffdev or you can check with the Region IV service center. The Pasadena summer staff development catalog is a good place to look for options that are fun and meaningful to you.) ATCP training does count towards your six hour contract requirement for 2003-2004.

  5. Return the absence form along with a copy of attendance from the staff development that you attend.
