Duke University TIP Program Thompson had 70 students qualify to take the SAT and 30 students actually signed up to take it. 7^th graders qualify from their 5^th and 6^th grade TAKS scores. Out of the 30 students Thompson had test, 7 of them scored high enough to qualify for State Recognition and these students will be honored at the May Board Meeting.
