Purpose
The purpose of this project is to create an interactive "Introduction to Computers" website for educators.
The "Introduction to Computers" website will be a sufficient, centralized, on-line location for teachers to obtain
resources needed to teach an introductory computer course. I will provide basic exercises illustrating district (and state)
guidelines and refrences to align assignments to state mandated objectives. This site will focus on six sections. The sections
include introduction, Paintbrush, word processing, spreadsheet, database, PowerPoint and the internet. Within these sections,
each part will then be divided into further sections consisting of skills, assignments, vocabulary, crossword puzzle, quiz and links.
It will be periodically updated for teachers to gather materials and ideas for use in an introductory computer course.
