Paintbrush

Each of the assignments can be saved and used. It would be in your best interest to complete these in order. The purpose behind these assignment is to use the various Paintbrush tools.

To use these files you must complete the following steps.

1. Click on the directions and print them out (if necessary)
2. Click on file to open
3. Right click on the picture
4. Save Picture as
5. Choose the location to save
6. Make sure next to SAVE AS TYPE it says Bitmap .BMP
7. Open the file you just saved

Zoom--Use the magnifying glass to zoom in. Then make corrections to the picture. Skills: fill tool, pencil, paintbrush directions zoomrubric1C, 1D, 7F, 8E, 9A, 9B

Colorin--Use the fill tool to paint the picture....be careful of the openings in picture which allow paint to spill over the whole screen. Skills learned: saving, following directions and paintbrush tools. directions colorinrubric1C, 1D, 7F, 8E, 9A, 9B
CONKDots--Use the line tool and connect letters in ALL CAPS in alphabetical order. Then guess the shape. Skills: lines and saving directions conkdotsrubric1C, 1D, 7F, 8E, 9A, 9B
Cut&Move--Use the select tool to move the items. Then flip and rotate the items just because you can. Skills: Following directions, select tool, flip and rotate directions cut&moverubric1C, 1D, 7F, 8E, 9A, 9B
Erasers--Correct the picture using various painbrush tools. Skills: paintbrush tools, saving directions erasersrubric1C, 1D, 7F, 8E, 9A, 9B
Shapes--Fill in the shapes using fill tool or the shapes. Use magnifying glass to fill in the smaller spaces. Skills: fill tool, shapes directions shapesrubric1C, 1D, 7F, 8E, 9A, 9B
Use motor trend magazine's buyers guide to pick a picture to use for the artcar. Look for some inspiration @ actual artcar museum or @ artcar link directions motor trendrubric7G, 7J, 8D, 9A, 9B 10A, 10B
