How to Place a Campus Order (Requisition)

 

 

1.  Click on “Inventory Icon”  in the Hayes program.  The “requisitions” icon is   located at the left side of the Hayes home page screen.

 

2.  Under the subcategory , click on "Campus Requisitions".

 

3.  Click on the green plus button   at the far right side of the screen.  This will open a new requisition and proceed with a new textbook order.  Before starting the order, name the requisition with the campus name first and then identify with a date or some name that is helpful to you.  Each requisition must have a different name. 

 

4.  Begin by placing the SLC or ISBN number in the empty search box in the middle of the screen and click the “binoculars”   for a search. 

 

5.  Left click on the specific book you need in (the row highlights to dark yellow)

 

6.  Left click in the blank box in the middle of the screen.  Type the number of books you need; then click on the green plus button .  This will add the book to the requisition and you will see it listed below a bold blue line at the lower portion of your screen. 

 

7.  Repeat steps 4 - 6 of this process until you have completed your order. 

 

8.  If you are not positive that your order is complete, save this requisition by pressing the light green “floppy disk” icon  .  This process allows you to go back into the requisition and make any changes and/or additions that you may need to make. 

 

 

9.  When you have completed the requisition, submit the requisition by pressing the red “lightning bolt arrow” .  From this point, your order is sent and you cannot make any changes.

 

 

To Edit a "Saved" Requisition:

 

 

 

Follow steps 1 & 2.  Find the requisition you want to edit, press the green pencil icon .  This opens the requisition.  You can make changes and/or additions on this screen.

 

 

**REMEMBER**, the textbook office cannot see your order until you have pressed the red “lightning bolt arrow” .   

 

The blue “X” icon will cancel everything.  Do not click on the blue “X” unless you want to delete the entire order.
