The Mission of the PISD Library Services Department is to support PISD teachers and librarians as they foster the training and encouragement of students in meeting the district goals through:
- provision of training for production of quality classroom materials,
- support of the school library systems with centralized materials processing,
- maintenance and support of the library automation system and materials ordering.
