Internet vs. Intranet

The Internet is the "web" of computers spread throughout the world.  Although there is a wealth of interesting, timely and important information on the Internet, three disadvantages exist:

Untrue, inappropriate, and/or malicious information is out there

Download time can be long

Sites can disappear at any time

The Intranet is the collection of pages stored on our PISD web server.  These pages are created by school personnel, and are intended for the use of PISD students, teacher and parents.  A few pages of interest are:
