Be a mentor in the Pasadena ISD's GEAR UP program! It's easy!

* Give 30 minutes to one hour a week
* Choose one of 8 participating campuses
* Select a day and time
* Show up at your scheduled time each week
* Use a prepared folder with student's individualized lesson plan
* Serve as a long-term mentor to your student and move up with him or her until graduation
* Volunteer to serve as a mentor to intermediate and high school students
* Provide a job shadowing opportunity for your student during high school
