Does my child attend the Laura Bush Elementary?

If you live in the area designated on the Laura Bush Boundary Map, your child is scheduled to attend the new school.  Exception:  Several district-wide special programs are only offered on select campuses.  If your child is enrolled in a special program not offered at Laura Bush, he/she will attend the campus designated in their feeder pattern school.  If your child is enrolled in a special program that is offered at Laura Bush, you will receive notification from the Special Education Department if he/she is scheduled to attend our school.

Where are the bus stops?

The PISD Transportation Department is responsible for designating bus stops.  Specific locations will be available on or around July 26^th.  At that time, they will be posted on this website and in the front windows of the school.  You may also try checking the “Back-To-School Edition” of The South Belt Leader, as the school district often publishes this information there.

What time will my child be allowed on campus?

The doors to the school will open at 7:10 a.m.  PLEASE DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILDREN OFF OR SEND THEM TO SCHOOL BEFORE THEN, AS THERE WILL BE NO ADULTS ON DUTY TO SUPERVISE THEM PRIOR TO THIS TIME.

       7:10 a.m. Doors open

       7:15 a.m. Breakfast lines open

       7:45 a.m. Breakfast lines close

       7:50 a.m. First Bell Rings

       7:55 a.m. Tardy bell Rings

       3:10 p.m. Dismissal
