Atkinson Elementary is located 2 miles north of the Sam Houston Tollway. The school opened in Fall 1969 and consists of 48 certified, 22 support personnel, a principal and an assistant principal whose dedication and commitment to students helps them meet our high expectations. Atkinson serves students in grades kindergarten through fourth from many culturally diverse populations.
